Dr. Mahuya Hom Choudhury is a senior IPR expert with 25+ years in innovation management, patent facilitation, and technology commercialization. As Senior Scientist and Nodal Officer for the Patent Information Centre and TISC at WBSCST (Dept. of Science & Technology & Biotechnology, West Bengal), she has led 1,000+ patentability assessments, facilitated 400+ filings, and helped secure 150+ granted patents. A registered patent and trademark attorney with an Integrated PhD in Biochemical Engineering, Dr. Choudhury has coordinated 60+ GI projects and received multiple national awards for strengthening West Bengal's IPR ecosystem.
